“Greenery” was deemed the 2017 Color of the Year by the Pantone Color Institute. This Bride loved the greenery she saw in bouquets and centerpieces, so we worked to include a lot of it in everything!
and lantern sprays!
The wedding flowers featured pink, peach, deep red and white.
These flowers flowed from the altar arch
to the hand-tied bouquets
to the lantern centerpieces.
From the wedding cake
to the personal flowers, such as the wrist corsages
I was honored when asked to design this bride’s wedding flowers, as she is my best friend’s younger sister, and I have known her since she was in 1st grade!
[I also designed my best friend’s wedding flowers.]
Here’s a close-up of all of the flowers and greenery types we used to create these designs!
Beginning with roses: we included the David Austin Juliet Garden Rose,
The other flowers included white stock,
Greenery leaves included Silver Dollar Eucalyptus,
and Israeli Ruscus.
I just love the romantic color scheme created from the pinks, red and greenery!
